After more than 30 years in business as a globally competitive company in the design and manufacture of thick film hybrids we see this as an important step in our continued development.

Benefits of ISO 9001 certification include:

 The making of the Quality System

We had previously been accredited to ISO 9002 by the Department of Defence but due to many changes within the company the formal accreditation lapsed.  Fortunately much of the system remained in place, even so the transition to ISO 9001 required considerable effort.

We used a management systems consultant to mentor us and assist in areas where we needed guidance.  If you or your organisation is thinking about going through the process for certification for ISO 9001 we can recommend an excellent consultant, Mr. Geoff Gray of Gray Management Systems (www.grayms.com.au).

What about our customers?

As a globally recognised statement of quality, ISO 9001 certification is a way of providing assurance for customers (and potential customers!) that they can trade with us with confidence.  

It also assists us in assuring our customers that we will continue to manufacture quality thick film hybrids for them now and into the future.

Where to from here using ISO 9001?

Although it doesn’t seem like it now, we have been often told that gaining accreditation for ISO 9001 is the easy bit, maintaining it is the hard bit.  

All of the staff at Hybrid Electronics are dedicated to following and maintaining the quality system.

We plan to continue making quality innovative thick film hybrids for our customers for many years and ongoing certification is another way of ensuring that we can.
